The Shura Council participated on Wednesday in a parliamentary forum on health and environment in the Arab countries, which was held via videoconferencing by the Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) in co-operation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.
During the Forum, the discussions focused on means to encourage the Arab society to protect the environment as well as rational use of natural resources, in a way that supports sustainable development plans.
During the forum, Qatar was represented by HE member of the Council Nasser bin Sultan al-Humaidi.
