Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a military post west of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.
It expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
