The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested an Arab suspect who had broken into several shops in the country, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has said. He confessed to committing burglary and thefts by smashing doors and glass, the MoI said in a tweet on Sunday, adding that the investigating team seized many stolen goods from his residence. The accused was referred to the competent authorities in preparation for presenting him to the Public Prosecution office to complete the legal procedures against him, the MoI added. The CID has called on the public and shop owners to install security cameras and surveillance devices, as well as to comply with security requirements, to ensure safety.
