The chances of rain are expected to improve Sunday and Monday, the Qatar Met department has said.
The rain could be thundery and of variable intensity, and may also be accompanied by strong winds leading to blowing dust, low visibility and hail at times, according to a report issued by the weather office on social media Saturday.
Sunday's marine warning is for thundery rain accompanied by strong winds and high waves.



"The Qatar Meteorology Department urges all to be careful and avoid all marine activities as well as follow the latest updates through our official accounts," the report said.
Meanwhile, Sunday's detailed forecast says thundery rain is expected along with strong winds in some places. Thundershowers and windy conditions are also likely in offshore areas along with high seas in some places.
It will be hazy in some places at first, followed by partly cloudy conditions and a chance of scattered rain, which may be thundery. Blowing dust is also likely in some areas.
Cloudy conditions are expected in offshore areas and there is a possibility of scattered rain, which may be thundery in some places occasionally.
The wind speed may go up to 30 knots during thundery conditions in both inshore and offshore areas Sunday, with the sea level rising to 9ft.
The temperature in Doha is expected to range from 28C to 34C Sunday.
