* Vistara to start its operations to Doha from Delhi starting Nov 19

Regency Travel & Tours announced that it has been appointed the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Vistara, a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines.
Vistara is an Indian full-service carrier which has flown more than 20mn customers since starting operations on January 9, 2015.
Operated by an Airbus A320neo, the airline will fly non-stop flights between Doha and Delhi twice a week, on Thursday and Sunday, from November 19, Regency Travel & Tours has said in a press statement. These flights will be operated under the bilateral travel bubble agreement between Qatar and India.
Vinod Kannan, chief commercial officer at Vistara, said: “Doha is an economic hub in the region and home to a large number of Indian expatriates, which makes it a very important market for Vistara. We are delighted to have appointed Regency Travel & Tours, a reliable partner in our growth journey in the region, to represent us. Their focus on customer service will help us in offering seamless service, convenience and comfort which Vistara is known for."
Tareq Taha, CEO of Regency Travel & Tours, said: “My team and I are glad to represent Vistara in Qatar during this bubble agreement. N M Shafiq, general manager of Regency, noted that the partnership with Vistara would help showcase the "unique and high service standards" both organisations offer to their customers. He added that the bubble agreement between the two countries, India and Qatar, would also help Indian nationals wishing to return to their homeland.
Vistara will be flying two times a week until the end of the bubble agreement, subject to the demand and necessary approvals.
UK 283 will depart Delhi at 8pm and arrive in Doha at 9.45pm, while UK 284 will leave Doha at 10.45pm and reach Delhi at 5.10am the next day, according to the schedule that is valid until December 31.
