The property sale market witnessed a major control by building sale deals from October 25 to 29, generating up to QR215.2mn leading the market by 67.8%, while land lot sales generated up to QR102.1mn or 32.2%, according to the latest Ezdan Real Estate report.
The breakdown of market activity registered from October 25 to 29 shows that sales clinched during the period resulted in an aggregate value of QR317.2mn, according to the report, citing statistics from the Real Estate Registration Department.
The sale activity covered the municipalities of Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, and Al Wakrah. The deals comprised vacant land lots, residences, multi-use buildings, mixed-use space, and residential buildings, the report stated.
Doha municipality ranked first in terms of the highest deal value by selling a residential building at Msheireb for a total of QR46mn. The property spans over 19,158sq m, and the deal was concluded at QR1,780 per square foot.
Doha municipality also witnessed the sale of a mixed-use building extending over 17,751sq m in Fereej Bin Mahmoud for QR24mn at QR1,649 per square foot.
