As part of the initiative to plant a million trees, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Public Parks Department, in co-operation with Al-Rayyan Sports Club, organised a tree planting event in Al Rayyan Park. The Public Parks Department director Muhammad Ali al-Khoury, senior officials from the Gardens Department, Nurseries Department, Al Rayyan Municipality's Services Affairs Department and a number of professional players from the club participated.
