HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanim bin Nasser al-Ali honoured yesterday the directors of youth centers and committees that participated in the third Qatari Youth Forum and the winner of the first places, during a ceremony held at Qatar National Theater. The recognition came as a result of the Ministry of Culture and Sport's commitment to encouraging youth centers and committees in sports clubs to creativity and innovation in various fields, and to propel them to provide various activities that serve youth and those affiliated with youth centers.
Friends Of The Environment Center won first place at the level of youth centers, Qatar Scientific Club ranked second, while the Girls Creativity Center won third place, and at the level of youth committees in sports clubs Al-Rayyan Sports Club won the best participation.
The Ministry of Culture and Sports held the third edition of the Qatari Youth Forum last February under the slogan (Oh my country, here I am!) with the aim of enabling young people to exercise leadership and societal roles that help them achieve the goals of Qatar Vision 2030. It was also to promote dialogue and consultation between young people, and those responsible for them in centers, committees, clubs, etc., and providing the appropriate environment for young people to spread their ideas and participate in studying issues that concern them and finding appropriate solutions to them, in addition to opening new spaces for youth work.
