DPS–Modern Indian School (DPS-MIS) debaters participated in an online inter-school debate competition recently organised by Olive International School for all Indian schools in Qatar and bagged the winners’ award.
The DPS-MIS team comprising Daiwik Dhar from Grade-VIII/D and Gargee Kanada from Grade-VII/D proved their mettle, and claimed the award with their powerful and innovative arguments.
The debate on the motion – “This house believes that Covid-19 has taught us how to turn challenges into opportunities” was indeed an opportunity for the participants to discuss in detail about the grim challenges faced by humanity during these testing times and helped them understand the philosophy of less is more. Asna Nafees, DPS-MIS principal, extended her congratulations to the winners.
