The Qatar embassy in Pakistan on Thursday delivered medical aid from Qatar Charity to Pakistan to support efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19). Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani handed over the medical aid to Executive Director of Pakistan Air Force Hospital (Islamabad) Major General Safdar Abbas. The ambassador expressed hope that the Qatari medical aid could help the Pakistani government's efforts in overcoming the coronavirus pandemic, noting that Qatar is assisting all friendly countries in facing the epidemic. For his part, the Executive Director of Pakistan Air Force Hospital (Islamabad) thanked Qatar for its constant support of Pakistan, in light of the spread of the coronavirus, and its support for the healthcare sector in facing the challenges imposed by the pandemic. A number of diplomats and members of Qatar's military attache in Pakistan attended the event.
