Qatar and Moldova yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for co-operation in diplomatic training. The MoU was signed by the Diplomatic Institute at Qatar’s Foreign Ministry and the Diplomatic Institute at Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI). The Director of the Diplomatic Institute, Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohamed al-Horr, signed for Qatar while Moldova’s ambassador to Qatar Victor Tsvirkun for his country. The MoU stipulated that Qatar and Moldova will enhance co-operation with the aim of achieving better education and training for diplomatic personnel of the two countries, in addition to enhancing their research activities. The MoU aims to establish and develop co-operation between the two sides, by exchanging programmes, information and activities in diplomatic training as well as related fields.
