Binu Thomas Mukkadan, (49), an Indian expatriate, passed away in Doha on Wednesday.
The Doha resident has been battling cancer for over a year. Mukkadan is survived by his wife, Gigi Alexander who is a staff nurse at Hamad Medical Corporation and two sons - Jinu and Jithin. The elder one is an engineering student in India while the second one is a Grade-VIII student of Ideal Indian School in Doha.
Funeral will be held in Doha today afternoon. Mukkadan's brother Bijo is also working in Qatar.
