The Centre for Geographic Information Systems(CGIS) at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) organised the first training course titled 'Introduction to ArcGIS Insights Application'.
The training programme was about analysing GIS data from various sources and extracting data analysis, a MME statement said.
The course was carried out through direct connection with a specialised trainer in the UK. The CGIS will approve the use of these technologies in the training courses in future too in compliance with the precautionary measures against Covid-19 and in order to continue to provide the latest developments in GIS techniques.
The course was attended by GIS specialists from the Ministry of Interior, Lekhwiya Force, Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Ministry of Transportation and Communications, National Command Centre, Communications Regulatory Authority, Qatar Petroleum, and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
