The Customer Service Office at the Urban Planning Sector of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has seen a considerable turnout of customers on the first day of launching the evening customer service on Tuesday.
Engineer Fahd Mohamed al-Qahtani, assistant undersecretary for Urban Planning Affairs, who attended the launch of the evening shift, stressed that the initiative is part of the MME's keenness to give customers and applicants easy and convenient access to the related services.
Abdullah Salim al-Musalam, director the Customer Service Office at the Urban Planning Sector, pointed out that the evening shift helps to ease work load.
The evening service offered every Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm, aims at easing the process for applicants and customers who find it difficult to conduct their transactions during the morning working hours.
Earlier, MME had said that any decision on extending the timings of the service, to include more working hours and days, will be taken based on the requirements.
