Qatar participated in the 25th session of the General Assembly of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport at the expert level, which was launched at the Academy’s headquarters in Alexandria today.
Qatar's delegation to the session was headed by HE Ambassador the permanent representative of the State of Qatar to the League of Arab States Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi.
The draft agenda for this session includes a number of topics, including the follow-up to the decisions of the 24th session of the General Assembly of the Academy, the presentation of the Academy's achievements report, the Academys budget for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2020, and its budget for the new fiscal year.
The sessions work also discusses a number of notes and recommendations related to Arab cooperation in the field of maritime transport.
