Ooredoo is the Dark Sakar sponsor of Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, S’hail 2020, described as the largest international event of its kind dedicated to falcons and falconry.
Hosted by Katara – Cultural Village Foundation, the five-day exhibition begins tomorrow. The fourth edition of S’hail will observe all current guidelines on social distancing.
Visitors will be required to wear a mask and present the Green healthy status on Ehteraz app upon entry as part of precautionary and preventive measures against Covid-19.
S’hail is of great importance in Arabic culture, with sighting of the star initiating the hunting season. Offering insights into traditional Qatari sport and culture, the exhibition will also host an Ooredoo booth, showcasing a wide range of exciting digital products and services.
Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari – director PR at Ooredoo – said: “It is fitting that Ooredoo will be backing this event, the world centrepiece of demonstrating dedication to preserving and promoting the arts of hunting and falconry, held under the auspices of Katara. Ooredoo is proud to be part of meeting the telecommunications needs of this best-in-class falconry event.”
Visitors are welcome to visit the exhibition from 9am until 2pm, and 4pm until 11pm, and on Friday, from 2pm until 11pm. More details are available on s-hail.qa.
