The Digital Transformation Assessment (DTA) sessions by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) will support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Qatar to take advantage of ICT services.
“A new set of interactive workshops are presented online to support the digital transformation of SMEs in Qatar to take advantage of ICT services to keep up with developments and face challenges,” a tweet by MoTC said.
Sunday's session focused on ‘how to take your online business to the next level using SAAS’ while the programme will discuss ‘enhanced fraud detection with data analytics’.
According to MoTC website, discussions on ‘test your cyber resilience against next generation threats’ and ‘ERP for small and mid-size companies’ will be held on October 20 and 21 respectively. The session will focus on ‘automated chatbots for customer service’ on October 22.
DTA is held annually to assess progress and adherence to the relevant digital government guidelines for each government entity. This assessment will result in a digital transformation annual report for review by the Steering Committee and submission to the Council of Ministers.
The DTA questionnaire assesses four dimensions of digital transformation using a range of measures. The digital transformation of SMEs Programme focuses on web presence, e-commerce and cloud services.
The first Digital Transformation Assessment was held in May 2015.
