Bangladesh MHM School and College recently gave a reception to Md. Jashim Uddin, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar. He was received with a bouquet of flowers by Ltd. Cdr. Md. Anwar Khurshid, school director; Md. Jashim Uddin, principal; the vice principal with other staffs.
The ambassador inaugurated a photo gallery on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation, and walked around the school campus and the class room areas. He was pleased to see the campus and the school’s discipline in every respect. He is the new chairman of the governing body, sponsor and custodian of the school in his capacity as the ambassador.

On the occasion, the newly joined teachers, masters of different houses and school heads expressed their views and projected the academic and extra-curricular activities promulgated throughout the year among the students. The principal apprised the ambassador of the overall academic activities and the board examination performance of the students.
Md. Anwar Khurshid explained the objectives of the institution and made the visitor aware of the administrative challenges faced by the school during Covid-19 pandemic and how these challenges were handled by the help of the Bangladesh embassy, the governing body and community leaders.
The ambassador expressed his satisfaction to see the well-arranged and organised programmes set by the school. He also mentioned the contributions of the founder, pioneer founder, donors and community leaders for building the school. He appreciated the faculty for imparting the effective teaching to the students.
The ambassador emphasised the development of the extra-curricular activities and asked the school to hold the regular competitions among the students. He said that his cooperation would always be with the school to arrange the building of an auditorium, swimming pool and indoor sports shed facilities during his tenure.
