Qatar participated in the 20th meeting of GCC Committee of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organised by the General Secretariat of the Co-operation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. Qatar was represented at the virtual meeting by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed al-Hammadi. The meeting discussed decisions of the Supreme Council, at its 40th session, related to higher education in the GCC countries. It also spotlighted the efforts of the ministries of higher education and scientific research to combat the coronavirus pandemic, and related topics.
