As part of its ongoing efforts to support the local art community, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will host an online Creative Conversation for Artists tomorrow with artists Muna al-Badr and Masoud al-Bulushi.
The event invites emerging and established artists to present and debate their new projects and conceptual ideas with the wider creative community comprising artists and curators.
Artists will have the opportunity to engage in open dialogue on their recent experimentations and lines of inquiry, as well as discuss some of the challenges faced in the creative process and development of conceptual thinking.
Creative Conversation for Artists provides the space for networking among Qatar-based artists from different age groups and a forum to showcase their work and latest projects to a wider audience.
“This online event series brings together artists from different disciplines to engage in conversation about their creative processes. We invite the community to sign up to attend this discussion which provides an opportunity to connect and gain inspiration from likeminded individuals who are pursuing their artistic passions and making their mark on the Qatar art scene,” Mathaf acting deputy director Maryam Ghanem al-Attiya said in a press statement.
Creative Conversation for Artists will be held in Arabic from 6pm-8pm via Zoom.
