The Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum (FBQ Museum) has launched the second exhibition of the three-part series, *Artists in the time of Covid-19.
The Covid-19 respiratory disease is caused by the coronavirus.
The exhibition is open to the public at FBQ Museum’s contemporary art space, The White Majlis, "where art lovers and museum visitors can elevate their tour with an exceptional experience and inspiring pieces of art", according to a press statement.
The FBQ Museum had launched its major community project, *Artists in the time of Covid-19, in April.
Since then, the museum received an impressive variety of artworks by Qatar’s creative community, wherein the artists expressed their feelings during the coronavirus pandemic in a creative way, the statement noted.
The first exhibition was launched in September and continued until October 3, while the second one began on October 9 and will run until November 7.
The third and final exhibition of the three-month series will be held from November 13.
All exhibitions will feature paintings, videos, prints, photographs, collage art and sculptures.
A space dedicated to young artists will be included as well.
The exhibitions will be open during regular museum opening hours.
