The Shura Council participated on Thursday in a parliamentary conference on climate legislation, organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), in co-operation with the secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, through video conference technology.
Discussions during the conference focused on exploring legislative methods to ensure social stability for societies facing risks posed by climate change.
