Registration for the Bharat Ko Janiye (BKJ) Quiz is underway and will remain open until the start of first round on November 1, the Indian embassy has said in a statement.
“Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz is one of the important initiatives of the government of India to engage the Indian diaspora and friends of India. The quiz will be organised online and have four rounds. It will be held for three categories of participants – persons of Indian Origin, non-resident Indians and foreign nationals (in the age group of 18-35 years only),” the statement explained.
The first round will take place from November 1 to 30. It is a ‘welcome round’ open to everyone. Winners from each country will get gold, silver and bronze medals.
Winners of the first round will participate in the second round from December 7 to 13. Then, the top 10 contenders of the second round (with a total 30 participants) will take part in the third round from December 14 to 20.
The fourth and final round, to be held from December 21 to 27, will see the top seven contenders of the third round participate. There will be a total of 21 participants.
The final round winners – five in each category – will be invited for a ‘Bharat Darshan’ (India tour).
