Qatar Chamber, in co-operation with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA), will organise a series of virtual workshops for the private sector to raise awareness on labour issues and related services offered by the ministry.
The first webinar is scheduled Wednesday. The initiative follows the decision of the co-ordinating committee between the chamber and MADLSA, Qatar Chamber announced in a statement.
The webinars will be dedicated for Qatari businessmen, owners and directors of companies, as well as company representatives. The move reflects both entities’ concern to enhance ongoing contact with business sectors and inform stakeholders on the services offered by the Ministry, as well as all issues related to labour and those that are of high interest to businessmen.
The workshops will engage discussions between businessmen and officials of the ministry, which will listen to their views and proposals in a way that benefits all parties, the statement also said.
