The property sale market has seen a significant growth in the number of deals clinched from September 20 to 24, which climbed to 243 transactions, according to the latest Ezdan Real Estate weekly report, sponsored by Sak Partnership.
Sold buildings of all types (residences, residential buildings, complexes, and towers) generated QR553.6mn, while land lot sales registered QR132mn, the report said.
Based on the breakdown of property sale activity from September 20 to 24 released by the Real Estate Registration Department, the report said the total value of property sale deals amounted to QR685.7mn.
The sales were distributed among Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Daayen, Shehaniyah, and Al Wakrah municipalities, and included vacant land lots residences, multi-use buildings, mixed-use space lands, and residential buildings.
Doha municipality registered the highest deal in terms of value by selling a land lot spanning over 2,063sqm in Fereej Bin Mahmoud at QR1,500 per square foot, totalling QR33.3mn.
The municipality also witnessed the sale of a residence in Al Markhiya area at a value of QR19.1mn, spreading over 4,315sq m and was sold at QR410 per square foot.
On rental rates, the report said a two-bedroom apartment in Bin Mahmoud area reached an average of QR5,000, depending on appliances, furniture, and services provided by each property, while a three-bedroom apartment registered an average rental value of QR5,500.
Rental rates in New Doha for two-bedroom unfurnished apartment reached an average of QR4,250 and the two-room apartment furnished in the same area recorded an average rental value of QR4,800.
In Al Duhail region, rental rates for a two-room apartment recorded an average of QR6,850, while a three-room apartment in the same area recorded an average rental value of QR8,000.
