The Amiri Naval Forces celebrated yesterday the graduation of officer candidates who completed their qualification period at the College of Marine Studies in Sudan.
The ceremony was attended by HE Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training Staff Major-General Hamad Ahmed al-Nuaimi, HE Commander of Sudan Naval Forces Major-General Mahjoub Bushra Ahmed Rahma, and a number of senior officers from both sides.
During the ceremony, al-Nuaimi extended thanks and appreciation to the Sudan government, and the Sudan armed forces in particular, for the good treatment of students, in addition to providing them with continuous support.
He also gave a speech to the graduates, urging them to take more effort and work to serve the nation.
The three-year course that the officer candidates were enrolled in included field training and the acquisition of applied sciences, which qualified the participants to obtain a bachelor's degree in marine studies.
