Qatar participated in the 17th meeting of the Ministerial Committee of Civil Service and Administrative Development of the GCC, which was held via videoconference technology.
Qatar was represented during the meeting by HE Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs Yousuf bin Mohamed Al Othman Fakhroo, who reviewed the efforts of the State of Qatar to confront (COVID-19) and the precautionary measures it has taken to limit its spread.
The meeting discussed the agenda, including the recommendations of the 24th preparatory meeting of the committee of civil service and administrative development agencies, which are related to issues of human resources systems, administrative capabilities and strategic plans, in addition to the decisions of the council in the field of civil service, and the efforts and precautionary measures taken by civil service agencies in member countries to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The ministers and heads of civil service and administrative development bodies in the GCC also discussed all social and developmental aspects, issues, projects and plans related to civil service and administrative development.
