HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah visited the shipyard of the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri in Muggiano (La Spezia) as part of his participation in the inauguration ceremony of the corvette (Al Zubarah) and offshore patrol vessel (Msheireb).

During the visit, HE al-Attiyah made an inspection tour inside the Al Zubara corvette, as well as a field tour of the Italian company's factory. HE the Commander of the Qatar Amiri Naval Forces Major General Abdullah bin Hassan al-Sulaiti, Qatar's military attache in Italy Brigadier General Hilal Ali al-Mohannadi, Qatar's ambassador to Italy Abdulaziz bin Ahmed al-Malki al-Jehani and a number of senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces attended the visit and the inauguration ceremony.
