HE the Chairman of the General Authority of Customs (GAC) Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Jamal honoured 15 inspectors from the Maritime Customs Department (Ruwais Port customs) for their seizures of narcotic substances of various types and quantities. During the ceremony, HE the Chairman praised the achievements made by customs employees in securing the entry of goods and products through their crackdown on these prohibited substances that harm the individual and society. This honour comes after the customs inspectors of Ruwais Port seized approximately 151kg of hashish narcotic through several seizures in the past period, in addition to reporting of commercial violations such as evading customs duties or other illegal activities.
