The cabinet on Wednesday appreciated the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to send urgent relief aid to Sudan to alleviate the effects of the floods that swept across large Sudanese regions and led to great human and material loss, the official Qatar News Agency reported.
The Cabinet affirmed Qatar's solidarity with Sudan in facing the effects of these floods and torrents in the country and expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the Sudanese people, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
