The Omani Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) decided to open air traffic for international flights on October 1, provided that flights are scheduled according to health data for specific destinations and according to bilateral agreements with other airlines.

The Oman News Agency reported that this decision came during a Supreme Committee meeting held on Monday, headed by Omani Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, to follow up developments of the coronavirus pandemic, measures to prevent it and ways to avoid its spread and deal with its various effects.
