HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani held on Sunday evening a telephone conversation with Sudanese Prime Minister Dr Abdalla Hamdok, during which he expressed his sincere condolences on the victims of the floods that swept through several regions in Sudan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
HE the Prime Minister also informed Dr Hamdok of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to send urgent relief aid to brotherly Sudan to mitigate the effects of the floods.
For his part, the Sudanese prime minister expressed his thanks and appreciation for this aid and Qatar's permanent standing by Sudan.
