*Customers can make donations to victims of the Beirut disaster at any Carrefour store and on its website
Carrefour Qatar has responded to the catastrophic incident that rocked the Lebanese capital, Beirut, with the launch of a donation initiative to provide essential aid to those who need it.
From August 23 to 29, Carrefour Qatar will donate QR1 to Qatar Red Crescent’s “Lebanon in Our Hearts” campaign each time a customer buys a Carrefour labelled product.
Carrefour is also empowering the public to help those affected by the August 4 blast in Beirut. Customers will have the opportunity to make a donation to Qatar Red Crescent at any Carrefour store. Alternatively, customers can visit the Carrefour Qatar website to donate online.
Carrefour was one of the first respondents to offer help to the affected people of Beirut through Carrefour Lebanon, providing food and essential supplies to non-governmental organisations supporting victims and participating in the mass cleaning of the city.
