The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial traffic closure on University Street on the left lane in both directions for 1km from Saturday (August 22) for nine months.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to allow excavation works for the development of the sewage and rainwater drainage networks in the area. During the closure, two lanes on University Street will remain open to traffic in each direction.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
