The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a six month partial closure of the junction known as LuLu Intersection on D Ring Road from August 23.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable works on the key intersection as part of D Ring Upgrade Project.
The left turn at the LuLu Intersection will be closed to traffic from D Ring Road towards Jaber Bin Hayyan Street. Road users are advised to make a U-turn at the next Nuaija (Mall) Intersection to reach their destinations.
For the left turn at LuLu Intersection from Jaber Bin Hayyan Street towards D Ring Road, road users should take the right exit at the signal onto D Ring and then use the recently made U-turn nearby.
Road users coming from Nuaija (Mall) Intersection wishing to make U-turn have to continue driving and then use the recently made U-turn after LuLu Intersection.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
