All passengers flying to India should carry with them a printout of the completed Air Suvidha Self Reporting Form, which they have to fill online before boarding the flight, an informed source said.

"Though they have filled the form online, many passengers are arriving in India without a printout of the completed form and they end up filling a printout of the form again before clearing immigration, causing some delays at the health screening area at the airports," it was explained.

"Showing a digital copy of the completed form on the phone is not enough. A printout is a must. If any passenger has not filled the online form before arriving in India, he or she will have to fill two self declaration forms upon arrival in India," the source added.

Air Suvidha is a contactless solution by the Ministry of Civil Aviation for all international passengers coming to India. It is a Self Reporting and Exemption Form Portal for international arriving passengers.

The link for registration is https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration. Though the form is available from the New Delhi Airport website, it is applicable to international passengers arriving at all airports across India.

On submission, the mandatory self- reporting application will be forwarded to the Airport Health Organisation (APHO) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Passengers can then refer to their email inbox for the updated application document. Passengers should show the printout of the completed form on arrival in India at the APHO counter and proceed for immigration.
