Qatar expressed grave concern over the recent developments in Mali, stressing the need to ensure the sovereignty of the state of institutions and law and the safety of government officials currently detained.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Qatar's full support for all regional and international efforts aimed at finding an urgent solution to the crisis, in a way that meets the aspirations of the people of Mali for security and decent living, and preserves the stability of the region.
