Commercial Bank of Qatar has received seven “prestigious” awards from Global Finance Middle East 2020 across both consumer and corporate digital banking award categories.
The Bank has won the following awards in 2020: Best Consumer Digital Bank in Qatar; Best Online Product Offering; Most Innovative Digital Bank; Best Online Cash Management; Best Trade Finance Service; Best Mobile Banking App; and Best in Social Media Marketing and Service.
The winners’ selection process was led by a “world-class” panel of judges at Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing. The editors of Global Finance were responsible for the final selection of all winners.
Abiding by stringent criteria, Commercial Bank’s selection was largely due to the strength of its strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers and success in encouraging clients to use digital offerings.
Commercial Bank Group chief executive officer Joseph Abraham said, “These seven awards reflect the strength and breadth of our best-in-class digital products and our strategy of investing in innovative technologies. These digital products and services are even more relevant for our clients given the impact of Covid-19 on face-to-face interactions.
