Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation said that the total aid it extended to eligible groups in Qatar reached about QR1.181mn in July 2020.
The Foundation stated that this aid was allocated to needy families and other cases whose circumstances were examined, based on its social responsibility in Qatar and in fulfilment of its vision of providing health and education for a better life.
It added that this aid, which targeted various eligible segments of society, included social assistance, payment of late debts for some cases, and the distribution of cash and in-kind assistance for poor families, orphans and widows from both citizens and residents.
The Foundation said that it follows a flexible system in its monthly financial and in-kind assistance that might be increased according to the needs.
