Doha Festival City (DHFC) has announced the expansion of its car parking capacity to cater to the increasing number of visitors.
The new parking area can accommodate 165 cars, providing easy access for visitors to the Luxury Area and newly launched full-purpose gym, Edge Fitness at the mall, as well as an easy exit route from the mall to Al Shamal Road during rush hours, DHFC has said in a statement.
Spread over 7,047sq m, the parking at DHFC is accessible for all visitors, boasting of 17 valet service locations that are all shaded.
Visitors can access the new available parking area from the southwest zone of the mall, adjacent to the main entrance from the ground floor and West Court Lobby Q from the Lower Ground.
DHFC’s opening hours are from Saturday to Wednesday, between 10am and 10pm, and from Thursday to Friday, between 10am and 11pm.
All outlets within our two food courts still welcome home delivery and takeaways. Entertainment, including cinema and play areas, will remain closed. Children under 12 years are still excluded from entering the mall until further notice.
In line with the preventive measures set out by the authorities, DHFC has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitisation operations during mall trading hours, and 127 hand-sanitising stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
At the entrance to the mall and all shops, visitors must show their 'green' Ehteraz QR code and should wear a face mask during their whole time in the mall.
Physical distancing stickers in common queuing areas, such as ATM machines, banks, telecommunication kiosks and branches and various retail shops were installed to help shoppers keep the required physical distance as set forth in the guidelines by the authorities.
Stores will provide sanitisers on entry and at cash points to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
