Qatari efforts in providing aid and conducting search and rescue operations continued in Beirut Monday.
Qatar's ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Hassan al-Jaber visited the explosion site at Beirut port in the presence of a delegation from the Lebanese Army and diplomats, the Qatari embassy in Beirut said in a tweet.

The Qatari Search and Rescue Team of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) briefed him on the team’s work progress during the visit.
In a related development, a shipment of medical equipment for the field hospitals donated by Qatar to Lebanon arrived at Beirut's airport Monday on a Qatari Amiri Air Force aircraft within the air bridge established by Qatar to support Lebanon after the Beirut tragedy, the embassy tweeted.
