Qatar has sent medical aid to Kyrgyzstan in support of its efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19). The aid shipment, which was provided by Qatar Charity, included ventilators.
The shipment was received by the Kyrgyz Deputy Health Minister in the presence of a representative from the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, and Qatar's acting charge d'affaires to Kyrgyzstan Jassim Saleh al-Jaber.
The Kyrgyz minister thanked Qatar for providing medical aid that included 420 oxygen delivery devices that will help save the lives of Covid-19 patients.
For his part, the acting charge d'affaires said that the initiative aims to support the medical sector in Kyrgyzstan to face the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic and enhance bilateral ties.
