Two-week closure on two lanes of Al Gharrafa Underpass and exit ramps

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a two-week closure on two lanes of Al Gharrafa Underpass and exit ramps, from Al Rayyan to Al Gharrafa and vice-versa, from August 2 to 16.

Implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the closure has been announced to enable the expansion of joint works as part of the Khalifa Avenue Project, Ashghal has said in a statement. Those using the tunnel in the direction of Al Gharrafa, Dukhan and Doha will be able to use the
Al Gharrafa service road and the signalised Tilted Intersection to reach their destination, as shown on the attached map.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. It has requested all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
