Award-winning Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan Doha has announced that it is bringing back its unique Saturday lunch focusing on the tradition of dim sum.

“Being part of their signature dishes since the very beginning, the Chinese ritual of dim sum always played a crucial role for Hakkasan”, according to a press statement issued by Alfardan Hospitality.

Dim sum means “touching the heart” in Cantonese, and its tradition has developed over hundreds of years. “The Dim Sum Lunch engages with the unique elements of Hakkasan’s personality. Calmness, tranquillity and humility are translated into a simple, elegant and vibrant experience,” the statement noted.

All dim sums from the exclusive Saturday lunch menu are served three pieces per basket for QR98 for three baskets or five baskets for QR138, with the menu featuring the famous Grilled Shanghai dumpling, Roast duck with pumpkin, Scallop shui mai with tobico caviar, Seabass with ginger and spring onion and the mouth-watering Prawn and scallop cheung fun.

“Hakkasan brings a modern interpretation of authentic Cantonese cuisine, taking inspiration from both contemporary and ancient China. The Dim Sum Lunch experience is a great way to discover Hakkasan Doha’s award-winning dishes and signature favourites. Hakkasan has always been committed to providing its customers with a unique experience that will keep the guests coming back for more,” the statement added.

The lunch will be available on Saturdays starting August 1, from 1pm-4pm.
