HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met Sunday with the visiting US Special Representative for Iran, Brian Hook, senior adviser to the Secretary of State.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region, besides topics of mutual interest. HE Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the importance of Qatar-US strategic relations and partnership, and the continuation of co-operation between the two countries in order to achieve security and stability in the region.
He also affirmed Qatar's position on the importance of not escalating and taking diplomatic means as the only way to resolve all crises in the region.
