Thundery rain along with sudden strong winds is expected by afternoon in the inshore areas of the country on Friday, the Qatar Met department said.
The offshore forecast says daytime will be hot in the western areas of the country with some clouds. Thundery rain is also expected in the western areas. Offshore areas will be cloudy and foggy.
Wind speed in inshore areas will range from 15 to 30 knots, with the possibility of thunder. Offshore areas may witness wind speed of up to 18 knots.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in the country on Friday are expected to be 33C and 43C, respectively.
