Vodafone Qatar has announced that following a Samsung Galaxy software update, customers can now enjoy the power of Vodafone’s GigaNet 5G network using the Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. "Vodafone Qatar conducted rigorous tests to ensure that its thousands of Samsung Galaxy users would seamlessly connect to its 5G network to start experiencing phenomenal 5G speeds at home and on the go," the company said in a statement Friday.
Vodafone Qatar stressed that it has been "leading the deployment and commercial availability of 5G in Qatar". The Vodafone GigaNet 5G network covers key areas across the country, including more than 70% of Doha.
The company has also launched Qatar’s first Unlimited 5G plans that feature unlimited local data, calls and SMS, as well roaming data around the globe; "perfect for use" with the Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra, the statement notes. The Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra introduce a brand-new camera architecture that combines AI with Samsung’s largest image sensor yet for stunning image quality.
"Along with the camera, the Galaxy S20 makes the experience of everything we love to do with our phones, easier and better — enjoy personalised music for every moment of the day, watch videos the way they are meant to be seen and play console-style games on the go," it adds.
In addition to solving connectivity challenges, the 5G Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices "enable continuous, integrated experiences between work, life and play". Apart from offering a world of connected possibilities, the Galaxy S20 Ultra features Space Zoom, which allows users to zoom in up to 100x and capture the world "in perfect clarity during any situation and at any time".
