Pakistan's President Arif Alvi received the credentials of Qatar's ambassador Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, at the presidential palace on Thursday.
The ambassador conveyed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani's greetings and his wishes of health and well-being to Pakistan's president, and continuous progress and prosperity to the government and people of Pakistan.
Pakistan's president reciprocated the greetings and wishes of His Highness the Amir, and wished the State of Qatar constant progress and prosperity.
The President wished the ambassador success in his duties, assuring him of all support to promote the bilateral relations to a closer co-operation in various fields.
