Aspetar, orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital is celebrating the 9th Qatar Patient Safety Week and World Patient Safety Day 2023 in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on September 17 under the theme "Engaging Patients for Patient Safety”.A series of events at Aspetar’s main campus will feature a variety of activities to raise awareness of patient safety, including a panel discussion on patient engagement, a patient partner discussion, and presentations on patient engagement activities by Aspetar healthcare professionals.The sharing of success stories on patient partnership that highlight the importance of patients being involved in their own care is the main topic. The agenda includes interviews with patient partners on their experiences of patient engagement, including presentations on patient safety that display Aspetar’s latest innovations.Dr Abdulaziz Jaham al-Kuwari, Aspetar’s chief executive officer said: "Patient safety is our top priority at Aspetar.
