Al Meera Consumer Goods Company (Al Meera) has launched an e-raffle campaign for 'Qatar National Products' as part of "its continued efforts as the leading national retailer to encourage customers to select local products".
The campaign, being held from July 8 to 28, gives Meera Rewards members the chance to win 1,000,000 points on a daily basis upon spending QR50 or more on national products. Each member will be allowed one entry per day and they will automatically be entered into an e-raffle draw announcing 70 winners every week.

The winners will receive an SMS confirmation with the new points added to their accounts within 72 hours from the draw date.
Commenting on the campaign, Al Meera said in a statement: “'Together, We Support National Products', an initiative by the Ministry of Commerce
and Industry (MoCI) and adopted by Al Meera, aims to bolster local suppliers in Qatar.
"As a country working towards self-sufficiency, this campaign will help expand the visibility of high-quality, homegrown products and other household items, and drive Qatar’s goal towards this endeavour. With this campaign, we commemorate the success of local SMEs, while at the same time leverage the Meera Rewards programme to our customers’ benefit.”
The national retailer stressed that it "runs the most extensive network of branches in Qatar with a commitment to providing the best quality at competitive prices in the market". Al Meera presents "a variety of locally produced goods at great value for customers to select from", in addition to a range of imported products.
"Al Meera has been instrumental in championing national products at its branches since the blockade in 2017. Over the years, the retail giant has been a keen supporter of national products through different campaigns by Meera Rewards, offering shelf and kiosk spaces to local producers and by collaborating with the MoCI on initiatives to promote 'Made in Qatar' products," the statement adds. "Al Meera has since been committed to the development of SMEs in line with the country’s economic diversity goals under Qatar National Vision 2030."
